"There's no such thing as a painless lesson-they just don't exist. Sacrifices are necessary. You can't gain anything without losing something first. Review of Amagi Brilliant Park

The Storyline is so cute and light-hearted yet has some serious moments, it also has hints of romance, but mostly the romance is the end half of the Anime. When I first heard of this Anime, I turned away from it, and didn’t want to watch it, but then one day I wanted to laugh and not have an Anime that would make me more depressed so I click on episode 1 and I was laughing so much that I forgot about my own real life problems. This is a unique storyline for the most part and the pace was amazingly well executed.

The Animation and Sound was really really good. The animation was perfect and was at a very high quality and the sound was also at a high quality, not only that but the Opening song was very catchy and addicting and was soon one of the songs that I would hum at work.

The Characters were all unique and really interesting, even the one that barely had any major screen time. The character developments between Sento and Kanie are so wonderfully done. Kanie is a really great character and I loved him throughout the whole series. Moffle was really funny and was the main reason for my laughing out loud.

Overall I really loved and enjoyed this Anime, and the only downfall being it was just TOO SHORT… It should have been longer, so then they could have developed even more of the characters and more into the storyline.

Review of Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~

The Storyline was actually really unique and interesting. It is for an Adult audience, and although I am still not 100% into them, I can still enjoy them to nearly the full extent. Anime such as Tokyo Ghoul and Psycho Pass helped me with getting used to the more adult mature themes. But then the ending came around, and although some people didn't mind the ending, I did… Not going to say what happened as that would be spoilers, but it just wasn't right to end it like that in my opinion.

The Animation was really good and really fit the type of genre and Anime. The Sound was good, but I didn't really like the style of the opening and ending songs, but that’s just my opinion and based also on the type of music I enjoy.

The Characters are all unique and I found it really hard to connect with them that much, but I did start to connect to the main male character around the halfway point in the Anime. I did feel sorry for the main characters and enjoyed when they were kick-ass fighting people. There were a few characters that I really despised and wanted to destroy with my own two hands.

Overall it was a really unique storyline, which could have easily been one of my favourites if it wasn't for the lack of connection to characters and the storyline ending in the way that I didn't like.

Review of Love Stage!!

The Storyline is definitely unique in most ways. I loved the fact is wasn’t all focused on the Love, or the fact it is a Shounen-Ai Anime, but it also has heaps of Comedy in it, which made this Anime so much better. The pace and style of this Anime was actually surprisingly really well done, but I must say, watching the OVA afterwards the main Series, did help end it a bit better, but it’s not essential.

The Animation and Sound was fantastic and the opening song… was so addicting and catchy and that’s no lie. I also love the eyes of the main boy, it is really well animated.

The Characters, what to say about those damn Characters. Izumi is a young, cute and small guy, but I kept mistaken him being a young boy. I loved the fact he didn’t want to follow in his family’s footsteps but wanted to make his own future and do what he wants to do. Ryouma for me was a very difficult character to like, but eventually I did end up liking him. Some of his traits weren’t appealing at all, but his kindness at times was heart-warming. The relationship between Izumi and Ryouma was sweet and cute but uncomfortable at times, because of Izumi looking so damn young and little. Izumi’s older brother; Shougo was normally the one that makes it the funniest and his obsession and protectiveness over Izumi is pretty cute and funny.

Overall this Anime was shockingly a really good Anime, even though I thought it wouldn’t be. It did romance and comedy justice.

Review of Blue Spring Ride (Ao Haru Ride)

The Storyline is pretty similar to other school romance Anime but of course there are some differences. You have the girl that hangs around with “Popular” girls so she isn’t alone. You have the popular boy who doesn’t even need to try. The difference is, it’s not a simpler, I love you, You love Me thing, as there’s problems and difficulties in both the girl and the boy and of course, let’s not forget….Love Triangle, which was the bit I didn’t like. The pace and the way it was told were amazing and well done. I love how it tackled other problems other than the main love interest.

The Animation and Sound was amazing and I loved the Opening song, it was catchy and memorable.

The Characters were the weakest thing of all the Anime. I loved the majority of them, and I loved the main two characters; Kou and Futaba, but some of the Secondary Characters, I just wanted to yell at them, as they were just annoying. The main secondary Character that I didn’t like was Yuuri, she was just in the way all the time, and causes stuff that just shouldn’t have happened, of course by the end, I didn’t mind her, but the majority of the time I didn’t like her.

Overall I really loved this Romance Anime, although certain things really annoyed me. I also hope for a second season, although it’s not the end of the world, if a second season doesn’t come around.

Review of DRAMAtical Murder

The Storyline was a really slow start and now and then was a little slow, but when it finally picked up and was at the right pace it was unique and amazing. I have to say that the description for this Anime really doesn’t cut it.

The Animation was so amazing and unique and to be honest was one of the best things about this Anime.

The Sound was also really good but the opening and ending songs weren’t very good and in my opinion didn’t help with building up excitement for the Anime.

The Characters were also one of the best things about this Anime; there wasn’t one character like another character. They were all very unique but my favourite characters were Clear and Noiz.

Overall I really loved this Anime series but some changes could have been improved. This Anime hasn’t been noticed very much but hopefully it will soon.

Review of Tokyo Ghoul

I was kind of scared to start this series as I knew it had gore and it was horror... And those two put together isn't normally my cup of tea, but I heard loads of good things about this Anime, so I thought I would venture into the unknown.

The storyline took a while to get into because of those two things that I said, but I got used to it, it's strange to say but this Anime has most certainly helped me expand my horizons on Anime and what I can and cannot stand.

The Animation was really good although there was times when I was a little confused... on why they were animating it this way.

The Sound was amazing, and the opening OP although I didn't like at first, grew on me... damn you Tokyo Ghoul.
The characters were nearly perfect, even the evil ones. I really loved how they were placed and used in this Anime, although one character should have had more screen time. I have to admit that I felt really sorry for Kaneki and the situation that was dumped onto him.

Overall I really loved this season and can’t wait for the second season that is to come out, really soon.(Jan 2015)

Review of Black Butler: Book of Circus (Kuroshitsuji: Book of Circus)

I was so excited when after watching all of Black Butler that there was going to be more, even after 2ish years break.

The storyline took a while to get into, but once I was, I was hooked and it was a shame that I had to keep waiting a whole week for each episode. It was strange thinking that this was in the middle of season 1 but it was easy to understand.

The Animation and Sound were amazing and of course it is going to be way better than season 1 and 2 as technology as progressed a lot in a couple of years.

The characters were amazing and only certain characters annoyed the hell out of me. Ciel and Sebastian were just perfect and their relationship with each other looked so much more real in this season than any other season. It was amazing to see the servants get more action in this one, as although with the other season you did see a little of what they are made of, this season showed it way better. It was also good to see new characters and what their role in the anime was about. I wished we could have seen more interaction between two certain characters, but beggars can't be choosers.

Overall I really loved this season and can’t wait for the OVA and also hope that there will be more seasons to come.

Review of Kaichou wa Maid-sama!

The storyline is so awesome and the only problem I had was the slow start. Although it has very similar things to other anime for some reason this anime made it unique and different. The funny parts mixed with the serious stuff and with the romance was a great way of making a unique and amazing anime that after a few eps had me hooked to it. With the romance I have to say it’s one of those that have really made me say “WOW”.

The animation although good was a little bit annoying when they made the characters go into a weird style and although yes it was meant to help make it funny, it really wasn’t needed. The style was similar to what was in “Fullmetal Alchemist” at times when “Edward” was doing something funny but it was fine in that anime as it was only now and then but with this one it really wasn’t needed to be used as much as it did. I have no problem with the sound as the quality was good and the voice actors were equally as good.

Now onto the characters. They were almost perfect to me but slight things annoyed me and made me think “Really!?”. The main characters “Misaki” and “Takumi” are just the cutest and amazing. I really loved the difference between them both yet when they were on screen together, everything just felt right and amazing.

Overall I really enjoyed this anime and I really would recommend this to people who like Romance, Drama and Comedy.

Review of Kamigami no Asobi

The story was good and in certain ways really unique. Of course there was the things that you could say are the same as other anime for example, the fact it's one girl surrounded by multiple guys and an added thing that the majority of the guys are total jerks to begin with. I love the fact this was relating to Greek Mythology as this keeps stalking me... Even in Anime I shall fall prey Greek Mythology.

The Animation is one thing I really can’t fault no matter how many times I try too; it was perfect for the Anime.

The sound was really good although I felt the intro and ending songs were a little cheesy... but... I guess I could expect that because of what this Anime is.

Most of the Characters were fine and easy to fall in love with, but some of them had such a hard personality to like even when they show they can be kind. My Fave Main character has to be the girl Yui and my Fave Secondary Character is Dionysus.

Overall I really did enjoy this Anime and it was a quick fun Anime.

Review of Psycho-Pass

I would really advise people to only watch this Anime if you are 16+ years old or even older as of the adult content in this anime.

The storyline is very unique in my opinion but of course there’s little things that may remind you of other anime. I found after the first two episodes I was hooked into it to watch the rest. I am not used to the adult content so it was a shock to see some certain scenes and its only because of that, that I am rating this less than perfect. This storyline is gripping and also it was emotional in certain places for me, because I admit I cried in two different places while watching this anime. (I am a sucker for crying).

The Animation and Sound are just stunningly amazing although I didn’t really enjoy the opening songs, but I did enjoy the ending songs.

The characters, well let’s just say I like and loved most of them bar a few of them. I am not saying who I don’t like, if you watch it, it should be obvious. The two main characters (Akane TSUNEMORI and Shinya KOUGAMI) are deffo my best chars as well but I also loved Tomomi MASAOKA because he was such a caring person being in the situation he was in.

Overall I really enjoyed this anime bar the few scenes that was just a little overwhelming. An almost perfect anime and I am so happy that there is  a second season out now and also a movie coming out next year.

Review of Loveless

The storyline in my opinion was unique and strange but I guess it was good. I felt like it was a slow start and then it got really interesting and then look what they do, they leave an open ending... I’m sorry but if you “think” there won’t be a second season, then don’t leave an open ending – And if its continued in the Manga, then it’s unfair on people who don’t read manga.

The animation and sound were really good and I really love the opening song, and also the ending song was really good but not as good as the opening song.

The Characters were lacking so much it’s unreal. I loved a few of the Characters but even the ones I loved I knew there was improvement to be made. “Soubi” was annoying every time he said “I love You”... I mean I know you do, but really do you have to keep saying it. It’s strange because normally the adults make more sense and are grown up but in this case, I felt like the children were more grown up.

Overall I did like this Anime but the ending really made me rate this lower.

Review of Amnesia

The storyline in my opinion was not unique but was told in a unique kind of way. I was kind of confused for like the majority of the anime but because of the content in the anime and the ending I really did enjoy this anime.

Would just like to point out that in this anime the date 1st August means a lot and I was watching most of this anime on that date… CREEPY!!!

The animation and sound were perfect and the opening song was so... Wow... Amazing... tbh I felt like the Opening song was better than some of the anime itself.

The Characters were lacking a lot of development... Well everyone but Heroine. I think because of the type of Anime it was, this was the reason for the lack of development... But still, I think it could have been a lot more.

Overall I just want to say this was a hard anime to get into and also to follow but the bits that were good... Were REALLY good.

Review of Angel Beats!

Finally watched this – WOOP!

The storyline in my opinion was unique in certain areas and not in some. I am going to skip to the part where I say this HAD ME IN FLOOD OF TEARS. This made me cry just as bad as Clannad but only at two parts unlike Clannad when I cried nearly every other episode. The way this story is told is so amazingly beautiful and stunning. I loved the fact there was a comedy aspect to it and if it didn’t have the comedy part I am very sure I wouldn’t have enjoyed it as much. I actually kind of like the idea of this happening in real life to a certain extent as It really is a harsh life if your life is cut short without you having a fulfilled life.

The animation and sound were perfect and the opening and ending song was so pretty and amazing and it added to the Anime so very well.

I am going to be quick about the Characters as they all had such different personalities and I loved each one for different reasons. The main male character being Otonashi handled the situation badly to start with but then got smarter and stronger and I could honestly say that I love him as a character.

Overall I just want to say, I loved this Anime and it was almost 100% perfect :D

Review of Black Cat

My good friend of mine suggested this anime so many time that I finally caved in and started watching it - Which I am of course glad for :D

The storyline is unique and nothing I have ever seen before (FACT). I loved how it all started and although at first I was a little hesitant my friend advised me that IT WILL GET WAY BETTER. It did get way better, I mean REALLY better SO good that I got hooked and watched the last half of the anime in like 1-2days :D.

The Animation lacked a little at times but I do know this was made in 2007 and the technology wasn’t what it is now, meaning if I was review this 3 years ago I would have rated the animation 7 or something like that. The sound was perfect and can i say how much i adored the Opening song - AMAZING.

The characters were almost perfect but I felt a certain character was a tad annoying at time but other than that I loved them all. My favourite characters were Train (Black Cat), Sven and Eve.

Overall I really enjoyed this anime and was very pleased with how it ended :)

Review of Bleach

First off I just want to say, I am reviewing this just a little different to my normal Anime reviews because it was such a long Anime with different ARC's thrown into the mix.

The Bount ARC:
Although I did enjoy this ARC there wasn't a huge need for it, as all it did was make Ichigo stronger in which they could have did without this ARC. At times I was grateful for this ARC but most the time I was praying for it to hurry up and finish so I could jump back into the main storyline.

The New Captain Shūsuke Amagai ARC:
Ahhh... I have mixed feeling for this... At time I feel what I feel for the Bount ARC but I also feel like, I needed this ARC to have a small break from the main storyline. I loved this ARC but I also hated it. (Confused about this ARC).

The Past ARC:
There was no need to have this ARC they could have explain this in flashbacks in which they ACTUALLY did. But no really... I found it pointless... only good thing about it was we found a little bit more about the Vizords...

Zanpakutō: The Alternate Tale ARC:
This is the only ARC that I enjoyed and loved. I have no mixed feelings with this. This ARC was needed in my opinion. It took one last break before diving into the main storyline. I just loved it... I always wanted more to do with the zanpakuto's and I got it in this ARC.

Main Storyline:
The main storyline was a perfect 10/10 for me, from the start to the finish it was amazing to see how far the storyline went and how things progressed with the characters. From seeing weak people to very strong people at the end was the best thing ever. So much in this storyline was unique and nothing I have ever seen before and it kept me on the edge of my seat at certain times.

The Sound and Animation was fine although I hated the first opening titles but loved them from then on. The ending songs… on which I got to hear were okay but nothing special. .

The Characters in this Anime is amazing and omg... I am in love with so many of them.

Ichigo is my fave guy character in this Anime. - He is weak yet grows strong, he loves and he protects with all he has.

Renji is my fave lieutenant in this Anime – He is strong, funny and knows when he has to grow stronger and he also has a need to protect people.

Rukia is my fave female character in this Anime – Although the first god knows seasons, you never got to see her kick ass, eventually you did and that’s when I fell in love with her.

Last but not least, my fave Captain is Toshiro because why not!? – He is amazing, not the average likeable character yet I like him. He is all for getting his job done yet most the time slips up and enjoys the fact things don’t go right. Awesome character.

Also I ship Ichigo and Orihime <3 – Haters gonna hate :P

Overall I really enjoyed this Anime but some of the ARCs made me… rate this lower than I would have liked to rate it. WELL WORTH THE WATCH. :D

Review of Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun (My Little Monster)

The storyline is a normal romance/comedy storyline but with little things different to other anime. Although this anime had some differences, I kept thinking about the anime "Say I Love You". I really did love this Anime but because of the things that were so similar I couldn’t rate it 9 or 10.

The Animation and Sound was not a problem to me at all.

The main characters were a bit weird as I had a love/hate relationship with some of them. Haru and Shizuku the two main ones were the ones I had a love/hate relationship, like throughout the whole anime, they were just sometimes making me all happy and then the next I felt really annoyed. I think out of all the characters, only two of them I actually loved which was Asako and Souhei.

Overall I really did enjoy this anime but I wished there was more differences to other anime and also for the characters to be a little less annoying.

Review of Karneval

I had this as my to watch for a while and because I started an anime I wasn’t getting into straight away, I felt like I wanted something I can quickly watch and enjoy and this was perfect for me as it is only 13 eps long.

The Storyline was really good and I enjoyed the whole thing. It was really unique and I haven’t seen anything like it before. The reason it isn’t a 10/10 is because although I wanted a short anime, I felt this should have been longer and the end was a little bit rushed.

The Animation and Sound was perfect especially the parts with Nai when he blanks out.

The Characters were very well thought of but I felt like some relationships in this could have been developed a lot better and stronger. Nai is such a clueless person throughout most of it but whenever he showed a backbone and strength I cheered him on like he could hear me. The other main characters being Gareki, Tsukumo and Yogi were all really important to the anime as all 3 had completely different types of personalities but when put together made a perfect person to be friends with.

Overall I really enjoyed this Anime with the only fault being that I wanted it to be longer.

Review of No Game No Life

The storyline is most definitely unique and a great idea but although I did love this anime the ecchiness just was a little too much for my liking. But apart from the ecchi it was one of the most enjoyable anime ever. I did have a break from it half way which is also why it clearly lacked something over than just the fact I don't like ecchi stuff.

The Animation and Sound was not a problem to me at all, hardly ever is... as you can see from my other reviews... only now and then is it a problem.

The characters are another thing all together. I had a love/hate relationship with each and every character apart from Jet who I just love for some reason. Shiro and Sora just really annoyed me at times yet at other times really made me happy and smile. The relationship between them is just so cute and amazing but things were just a little over the top. Same with all of the other characters for example Stephanie.

Overall I really enjoyed this Anime but things just weren’t as good as it could have been. I loved the ending and if there was to be a second season I would watch it.
